Our Pastor is Bishop Ronald Alexander. He was born in 1969, and was raised in Memphis, TN. He grew up a very active member of New Independent Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Sylvester Pigues where he served in various capacities, but more notable as one of several Associate Ministers and Young Adult Choir Director. He became pastor of Divine Purpose Church (once New Prospect Church) on October 8, 2000. Over the years, Bishop Alexander has worked to lead God's people with love and encouragement. During his tenure, he has worked to improve the worship facilities and had purchased 5.13 acres of land, adjacent to the current property and started a new building project in 2021. He also led in the purchase and operation of the Divine Purpose Charter Bus Ministry (purposely dissolved in 2020 to start building project), founded and serves as The Presiding Prelate of Divine Ministries International Fellowship Incorporated and the D-MIF School of Ministry, all branches of Divine Purpose Church.

Bishop Alexander started his collegiate studies at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, AR in 1989 as a Music major before returning to Memphis and receiving an Associate Degree in Business from Phillip's Junior College in 1992. In 2003, he spent two full years at Lane College of Jackson, TN where he majored in Religious Studies before transferring to Crichton College of Memphis, Tennessee where he majored in Theology. Throughout his educational journey, he has become certified in Biblical Studies, Christian Leadership, Evangelistic Ministry, Spiritual Counseling, Church Administration, Hermeneutics, Ecclesiology and Systematic Theology.

Bishop Alexander was enthroned to the Office of Bishop on November 4, 2006. On September 7, 2007, he was Reaffirmed and Installed as Presiding Prelate of Divine Ministries International Fellowship, Incorporated. Since March of 2008, he has been a member of the African American Joint College of Pentecostal Bishops where he received Certifications in Episcopacy and Leadership.

Bishop Alexander is an anointed leader appointed by God to help in motivating and empowering the saints through encouraging messages of faith, endurance, purpose, salvation and deliverance. He strives to be a great leader, visionary, friend and advisor. Bishop Alexander is happily married to Lady Angeleick Alexander. He is the proud father of Jasmine and Roneshia Alexander and grandfather to Jacquari Farris.
